Charlew's Exclusive Limited Transferable Warranty

Charlew's building standards meet and, in many cases, exceed the accepted standards of our competitors, as well as national and local builders’ associations. Thus, we stand by the quality of every home bearing the Charlew name.
In addition to any manufacturers' warranties for products contained in our homes – and as part of the Charlew Homeowner Protection Plan – Charlew provides a transferable Limited Warranty; up to 100% of the purchase price.

Items covered under this Warranty include those detailed in the Accepted Standards Section of the Protection Plan and those listed on the Final Inspection Form generated at Orientation.

The Charlew goal is to confirm that our standards have been met before the pre-closing Home Orientation takes Place.

FIRST YEAR BASIC COVERAGE

• defective workmanship
• defective materials
• defective design

SECOND YEAR MAJOR SYSTEM COVERAGE

Includes plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling and ventilation systems installed by Charlew, as these systems are defined in the Plan.

10 YEAR MAJOR STRUCTURAL DEFECT COVERAGE

Defective workmanship, materials, and design in load bearing portions of the home that result in unsafe, unsanitary, or unlivable conditions.All coverages are for defects that fail to meet the Accepted Standards of Charlew as outlined in the Protection Plan, or the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code.
